A race to support young singles on mission to Jinotega, Nicaragua, this summer. The race is Saturday, June 16, at 9:00 a.m. Cost is $25 and includes a t-shirt, water, & post-race snacks. Winners awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, male and female.

There is a team of 30 young, single adults traveling to Jinotega, Nicaragua, July 10-17. They will be working in three different towns assisting local evangelical churches to minister in their communities and to share the Gospel. This is a great opportunity to support the work God is already doing in Jinotega.

What to expect…
A fun retreat for young single adults age 20-39, Memorial Day Weekend, (Wed-Mon) May 23-28! We will meet Wednesday night for dinner, Thursday night for ice cream and games. Then we’ll get together to study God’s Word Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, and Sunday night. We’ll also have lunch by the pool on Friday and Saturday. The rest of the time is on your own. Hang out at the beach or pool, play volleyball, head to the outlet mall, eat at great local restaurants, or just relax and enjoy God’s creation.

Phoenix VI Condo…
3-bedroom/2-bath condo with full kitchen, washer/dryer, & balcony overlooking the Gulf. (7 per condo, you can request roommates when you register)
Check-in begins at 3pm on Wednesday, May 23.
Check-out is at 11am on Monday, May 28.
If you leave early Wednesday morning, you can spend the day at the beach but just know you may not be able to check-in until 3pm.

Cost…
$240 per person.
This includes 5 nights at the Phoenix VI, dessert on Thursday, lunch on Friday and Saturday, journal, 4 sessions in God’s Word, and a relaxing weekend with friends.

$80 deposit is due by Sunday, April 29th.
The balance of $160 is due Sunday, May 13.

Bring your family to the Memorial Park Grotto for a special night of worship.  Families will take a self-guided walking tour of the grotto and observe various depictions of the life of Jesus designed to prepare your heart and family for Easter.

This is a family outing designed by and for Bellevue Young Marrieds.

Calling all Dads!

We dare you to grab the kids and come trek through the forest for a day of fun, exploring and learning.

We’ll discover how to use a map and compass and then test our new found skills as we make our way through a marked orienteering course in the hills and dales of Shelby Forest.  You even get to keep the compass as a reminder of your journey.

Best of all, we will have the opportunity to talk with our children about navigating through the thickets of life with a true sense of God’s direction from His word.

Tips for the outing:

• Dress appropriately for the environment. Tennis shoes, bug spray, and sunscreen are a necessity. Sandals and flip-flops should not be worn.
• Participants may want to bring a pack with extra supplies (i.e. water, snacks, bug spray, hat, etc.)

Inclement weather policy: Rain will not ruin the event but lightning would. Should the outing be canceled, an email will be sent to all the participants the morning of the event.
