Life Groups focus on taking the timeless truth of God’s Word and bringing it to life—your life. Whatever your age or stage in life, there’s a group for you and every member of your family.

Led by a gifted Bible teacher, each Life Group is designed to help you grow as a believer, to have victory in your daily walk with the Lord, and to serve Him with your own unique gifts and talents. You’ll also meet friends for life, people with common needs, people who will encourage you, rejoice with you, and pray with you.

Choose from Life Groups at 8:00, 9:20, or 11:00 each Sunday morning—whichever time suits you best. Then, during each Life Group hour there are a number of different groups—ranging from large to small, ladies, men, couples, or coed—from which to choose. Home Point is an initiative that exists to help you become intentional about building a God-honoring home one step at a time. This initiative is designed to develop a culture of intentional individuals, couples, parents, and grandparents in establishing the home as the primary place where faith is nurtured.

Home Point has two objectives:

• Make it easy for you to build faith at home through ongoing ideas, encouragement, and helpful resources.
• Make it more likely that you will become intentional about building faith at home through church-wide campaigns and personalized plans every 120 days.

The Point of Home

Home Point exists to help people take simple steps toward creating a God-honoring home. Since most of us are called to worship God through the intimacy of marriage and the blessing of children, we need to understand the purpose and priority of family life.

SHOW CHRIST – Every marriage is intended to be a masterpiece reflecting the marriage between God and His people. So we challenge believers to pursue a God-honoring marriage by giving themselves to a husband or wife through mutual submission and faithful devotion. (Gen. 1:27, Gen. 15, Jer. 3, Eph. 5:22-33, Rev. 21:9)

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” This is a profound mystery – but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians 5:31-33

RAISE BELIEVERS – Those blessed with the gift of children and grandchildren are called to disciple the next generation as life’s greatest priority. So we challenge believers to become intentional about capturing and creating experiences that deepen the roots of faith. (Exodus 20, Deut. 6, Psalm 78:1-8, Eph. 6:1-4)

“He commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God.” Psalm 78:5-7

BE JESUS – A strong Christian family is where The Word becomes Flesh and Blood as we conform our lives to the image and example of the Lord Jesus Christ. So we challenge believers to walk the talk, living their faith at home in ways that will attract the next generation and the next-door-neighbor to Christ. (John 1:14, Phil. 2, 1 Tim. 3, 1 John 3:16)

I spoke with Steven Holley and the excitement he felt for this marriage-friendly date night was contagious. He and his wife Leigh, and many other young couples are instrumental in bringing together a night you won’t soon forget. Filled with live music, interactive table games, free snacks, coffee and cold drinks, insightful skits and entertaining video clips, it is a wonderful opportunity to meet other couples who desire a better relationship.

According to Steven, approximately 50 percent of the young couples who attend the Soul Mate Live events are not involved in any church or Bible fellowship class. This is the perfect opportunity to invite other couples you know who are struggling in their relationships to attend with you.

The Soul Mate Live event is free and childcare is $6 for 1 child and $10 for 2 or more children. All you have to do is register for the evening at www.soulmatelive.com. This date night is for whatever stage your relationship is in at this time. Whether you need to heal your wounded marriage or just jumpstart your serious relationship onto the right path, you will find the essentials at this event.

There you will find a place to volunteer your services.  Steven and his friends need volunteers to help with working backstage, preparing the food, cleaning up after the event, greeting people, setting up the tables, decorating and acting in their skits.

PLEASE NOTE: Childcare is only available with registration. Unregistered moms are invited to attend The Source although a meal cannot be guaranteed without registration.
